This doll has been sold. Sweet 10 ½-inch antique German doll with bisque shoulder head incised: 154 dep. She was made in the doll factory of J. D. Kestner. Her bisque is perfect with no cracks, chips or repairs. She has brown sleeping eyes with perfect eyelid wax, and an open mouth with carved upper teeth. She has what’s left of her original mohair wig over a plaster pate. Her original kid body has the Kestner stamp on her chest. It is in excellent condition with perfect bisque lower arms. She wears her original cotton drawers, shift, half slip and stockings. She wears an antique plaid cotton pinafore. She was lost her guimpe, and I found a blouse for her, but she needs something better with longer and fuller sleeves. She has no shoes, but a replaced purple velvet hat. These little 154 Kestners are very rare and very desirable. What a charming little girl!
