Charming 13-inch antique German doll with patent washable composition head, Ca. 1890. Her coloring is lovely and condition is excellent. She has an unusual open mouth, just a little wear on her lower lip. Her mohair wig is sparse, but covered by her lacy bonnet. She has her original cloth body with composition lower limbs, fingers on one hand are missing, but it really isn’t even noticeable, cloth upper arms have been replaced. She wears vintage clothing: print cotton dress with matching slip and drawers, black cotton stockings and newer leather boots. I suspect her clothing was made in the 1940s. What a charming little girl, a very nice example of this type of doll!
