This doll has been sold. Attractive 18-inch antique German china doll with 1880s-style hairdo, probably by Alt, Beck & Gottschalck. His china head is perfect with no cracks, chips or repairs. Face painting is lovely, and blonde hair has overall molded tiny curls, even on his forehead, and exposed ears. Her has a newer cloth body with new china lower arms and legs. There are some paint flakes on his boots. He is well-dressed in satin coat and pants with velvet vest and white cotton shirt. All ready to display!
