This doll has been sold. Unusual 14-inch American made all-composition child doll, unmarked from an unknown manufacturer. She is completely original with blonde human hair wig, blue lashed tin sleeping eyes, and closed mouth. Face is quite singular with lovely coloring and a few light crazing lines. Composition is generally in very good condition, crack on her thumb. She wears original clothing, dates from 1942. She may represent “Heidi” or a European peasant girl from the WW II period. Clothing is very well made with drawers, slip, stockings, shoes, skirt, blouse, weskit and apron. Everything in nice condition but some yellowing of her blouse and fading on her blue skirt. Comes with her basket, too. Lovely compo girl, all ready to display!
