This doll has been sold. Pretty 18-inch antique German bisque child doll incised: Made in Germany 390 A 2 ½ M. She was made in the doll factory of Armand Marseille. Her head is perfect with no cracks, chips or repairs. She has molded eyebrows and brown sleeping eyes with perfect eyelid wax. Her brown curly synthetic wig is a replacement. She has an excellent quality jointed composition body (not stick-type) with perfect fingers and original paint. She looks like she has all original clothing – factory chemise, drawers, full slip, pink half slip and lovely pink cotton dress 2-piece dress. Her drawers have lots of holes, but being original I hated to replace them. Her chemise slips and dress have yellowed spots and stains and could be soaked in OxyClean and laundered. She wears her original black cotton openwork stockings and black oil cloth shoes. Wonderful to find dolls like this with lovely old clothing, what treasures they are!
