Lovely French style dress and matching bonnet made from vintage white cotton with eyelet trim will work for a large French or German Bebe. The eyelet is overlaid on the dropped waist skirt and makes a scalloped hem on the top layer. There are 2 eraser tip size small light age spots on the side front and one on the hem. These just make it look like an antique dress. Otherwise, the dress is excellent and has never been used. Don’t know why the photo is showing discoloration because the dress has none. It is pure white. You could trim it with an antique broach or some silk flowers or ribbons if you want to fancy it up. Bonnet has three rows of shirring and two rows of tiny white lace with an antique silk flower and ribbons. It is not fitted, but flexible so it’s an easy fit. The dress measures 16 inches from shoulder to hem. Sleeves are 7 ½ inches long (not including lace). Neck is 9 inches, but there is at least ½ overlap which can be added. Back is closed with hooks and eyes. Waist which actually falls at the hips is 18 inches. Shoulder seam to shoulder seam in the front is 7 inches. I think this will fit about a 26 inch doll, but I don’t have any large dolls anymore to try it on. If you need any other measurements, please e-mail.
