All-original 8-inch antique French bisque doll dressed in Scots outfit. Bisque head is incised: SFBJ 60 Paris 13/0. Bisque is perfect with no cracks, chips or repairs, but there is a factory flaw on his inner left eyebrow. He has dark glass inset eyes (never slept), a desirable closed mouth, and his original brown curly mohair wig. His original composition body is jointed at shoulders and hips, and features green knee socks with tied on ribbons and black 1-strap slippers. Condition is excellent with a small flake on one thumb. His lovely and complete Scots outfit is in excellent condition and features hat with decoration, pleated kilt, black velvet jacket, plaid with shoulder ornament, white weskit, sporran and plaid undershorts. What a find for the collector of Scots costume dolls or small French dolls!
