These beautiful vintage Oriental 12-inch cardboard figures are covered with padded silk clothes which are glued on. Their hair is quite fancy. Their silk faces are beautifully handpainted with lovely detail. They are in excellent condition with just light glue residue on a couple of spots, and the colors are vibrant. They are stamped Made in Hong Kong. These are from a local doll collection assembled primarily in the 1950s and 1960s, so I would assume these are vintage items from around that date. There is a silk thread on the back for hanging, or they could be framed. Beautiful decorations!
