Lovely 9 ½-inch French celluloid lady in maroon velvet gown from the Bigouden region. As with many of this type of doll, her gown is below her feet, and with her headdress the total height is 12 ½ inches. Her eyes are beautifully painted, and she has a blonde wig. Her shoulders and hips are jointed, and she has painted socks and heeled slippers. She has a tag Blanche Jantier and her original box is labeled Made In France Bigouden. She is in perfect condition. Wonderful to find these collectibles still in original boxes with tags and labels!
