Charming 5-inch factory original German all-bisque girl doll, incised only 4, possibly made by Alt, Beck & Gottschalck. As far as I can tell her bisque is perfect, but her clothing is sewn on, so I can’t see everything. She has inset glass eyes, open mouth with upper teeth and her original blonde mohair wig with bangs. She has a swivel neck and her original limbs are jointed at shoulders and hips. The feet have white molded ribbed hose, black garters, and one-strap black shoes with heels. She wears her completely original factory outfit, including underwear. I’m not sure what country she’s from, possibly Belgium. Need to do a little research on this. Since these folk costumes are becoming obsolete, dolls authentically dressed are becoming more historically important. All together, a charming little girl.
