Wonderful 5 ¼ inch antique French all-bisque mignonnette, Ca. 1880. Her creamy pale bisque is perfect with no cracks, chips or repairs. Wonderful almost smiling face, as typical of these sweet girls, she has lovely stationary brown glass eyes, dainty stroked eyebrows and delicately painted eyelashes with molded upper eyelids and closed mouth. Her closed bald head is covered by her original blonde mohair wig, though it’s sparse in the back. She has a kid-lined swivel neck and long slender limbs with wood-pegged shoulders and hips. Her footwear consists of white molded socks and black heeled 2-strap shoes. Her vintage clothing appears original: cream silk dress with lace trim, silk ribbon, and straw hat with added ribbon. Replaced slip, but no panties. Fabulous French all-bisque, such an exquisite overall look! My most favorite doll face, I love these girls with hint of a smile. You can never have too many of them.
