Sweet 7 ½-inch antique German bisque bonnet head doll, probably made by Hertwig & Co., Ca. 1890. Her bisque shoulder head is perfect with no cracks, chips or repairs. Her sweet face is capped by blonde molded bangs and framed with a blue ruffled molded bonnet with pink bow and ties under her chin, with gold trim also. Original cloth body with stone bisque lower arms and legs with brown glazed boots, ribbed white hose and brown painted garters. She was dressed years ago with white eyelet matching underwear -- drawers, half slip and shift --under her peach satin dress. I would add a vintage lace apron or overskirt. Really a sweet one, love these bonnet dolls!
