Fancy 8-inch antique German bisque lady doll incised: S & H 1160. She was made in the porcelain factory of Simon & Halbig, so-called by collectors as Little Woman head. She has perfect bisque with no cracks, chips or repairs. She has a beautifully painted face with inset glass eyes, delicate upper and lower eyelashes, tapered eyebrows and closed mouth. She has her original fancy mohair wig with center part and side curls and fancy braids in the back. This lovely lady has a “cone” body with perfect bisque lower arms and black lace mitts. She wears her original gray satin gown with lace trim, but it is quite deteriorated. Her lovely silk hat is also worn. She is a beautiful doll, well worth preserving!
