Very nice and clean 16 inch Volland Raggedy Andy dating from the late 1920s. Andy has an attractive printed face, some light overall soil, but no tears or stains. His reddish brown hair is nice and full, but I think it might have been replaced. Not positive as the wool looks and feels old, but the strip to which it is attached looks new. Andy’s body is excellent, with light soil on his hands, no holes or tears. His suit pants are a little faded, but still have original pearl buttons on the front and lower legs, no holes. His tie and hat are replaced. All in all a very nice example of a Raggedy Andy from this period. He is hoping for a home with a matching Ann to keep him company!
