Lovely 4 ½-inch early antique German all-bisque child, unmarked as is usual with these early type dolls, but very likely by Kling & Co. porcelain factory. Her bisque is perfect with no cracks or repairs, but there is a small flake at one arm stringing hole. She has very beautifully painted features, and a slightly turned head. Her mohair wig is a replacement and has a double braid down the back. She is peg-jointed at shoulders and has stiff hips. She has molded shirred blue hose with brown 1-strap shoes. Her simple organdy dress is vintage with added silk flower and sash. Someone has made her a lacy hat with tiny blue ribbons. Beautiful early girl, wonderful for a dollhouse or room setting, or a doll for a larger doll!
